Landscape garden Midden-Limburg
For this project, BuroLandschap was asked to adopt a creative approach in a 300-metre long narrow garden along the towpath of the Albert Canal.
The garden design consisted of two parts: an ornamental garden with wild prairie as well as grassy vegetation, and a vegetable and herb garden with vineyard.
The biggest challenge in this project was to screen the private garden and residents from the adjoining towpath. To do so, a constructive vegetation wall was designed, comprised of both green and wooden elements. This creates privacy without losing contact with the water.
